Rebecca Pelayo has sixteen years of beauty industry experience managing quality and regulatory systems. She specializes in regulatory compliance and creating functional quality management systems for small to midsize firms.
Rebecca has been responsible for leading quality and compliance activities including contract manufacturing management, wholesale licensing, training, and international regulatory compliance. She has facilitated and lead many regulatory audits including, FDA, CDPH and California Board of Pharmacy.
Her career includes many different aspects of manufacturing including validation, quality control, microbiology, and quality assurance. From the corporate side she manages domestic and international regulatory affairs as well as trade compliance. Her extensive experience with creating regulatory and quality systems from the ground up to bring companies into compliance both domestically and internationally allows them to streamline processes and expand their international footprint.
Rebecca received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from California State Polytechnic University and a Master of Science degree in Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University
