At Bridge Beauty my mission is to bridge the gap between business and compliance by providing relevant content specific to the beauty industry. I will provide news updates as well as opinions about more difficult categories and concepts in the personal care space.

The regulatory landscape is constantly changing, with each year becoming more regulated than the last. This makes for a very time-consuming endeavor to try and keep up with all the changes. I hope that reading my posts will help you along the path of compliance and that you will find what I have to say useful. I know when I worked for brands, it would have been nice to have a dedicated blog that I could go to for advice and feedback on issues that were relevant to what I was facing. I wanted something that was a little more than just regurgitation of the legislation, and while that has merit  and value I needed something a little more practical. That is what I hope to provide…practicality, especially when it comes to regulatory affairs for different product categories. Examples of these product categories include skin care, hair care, body care, color cosmetics, OTC products, the list goes on.

I would also like to add that I am not an attorney, I have my Master’s Degree in Regulatory Affairs, I am a subject matter expert, but not a legal advisor. If there is anything from a legal perspective that you are looking for, well then that would require a lawyer. These are only my thoughts, opinions, knowledge, and yes some highlights of legislation.
